His parents abandoned him when he turned 5 because "You were not supposed to be born." Ever since then, he wandered aimlessly, begging for food, water, and a place to sleep until he stumbled upon a band of thieves. He decided to join their ranks, and eventually became a valued, and well-known, member of their team. After learning all he could from the leader, the gangs lockpicker, and after getting a crash course in red magic from their mage, he left the band at the age of 12 to travel around the world and steal from others to survive, to 'return something', and to spread his fame. Even today you can here the name "The Padlock Burner" wispered at almost every bar.
