Torin has had the Serpentarius Stone unknowingly since he turned eighteen.  His mother gave it to him, telling him that his father wanted him to have it when he was old enough to take care of it.  Recently, Torin discovered the stone has a strange power, and a strange effect over him and his elemental powers.  They were also attacked in an attempt to steal the stone.

Covered with Glyphs, Torin found his notebook in the Jungle near the Glyphic Temple after they were attacked by Sylvanian Troops.  It was left behind after Blake was captured.
